I took a recent trip to Aichi to attend the Expo. My hokey, it was full of people. I was going to post a photo from the Earth Tower, the current record holder for the largest kaleidoscope in the world. But I figured that's sort of cheating as far as finding beauty in strange places. So I decided instead to give you this photo of some superlong scarves. The work of the hundreds of people who've come through the Seto Area of the Expo (which was nice and quiet. Decidedly more laid back than the Nagakute Area.) in a handful of weaving swatches. I got to add my own bit to the line before weaving my own piece of cloth.
